Who am I?
23 Years Old
Female
Starting Weight: 17.2 Stone / 240.8lbs / 109.22kg
Height: 5ft5in / 165cm
BMI: 40.1
I’m not 100% ready to admit who I am. I guess this is because with this blog I’m going to be baring my soul , admitting how much I weigh and expressing my emotions. Which I often don’t do publicly. I am embarrassed and I am scared of how overweight and unhealthy my body currently is. So I guess you can call me Jessica (my middle name and less revealing than my first!).
Why am I doing this?
1. After a large operation I had (2 months+
ago) I needed quite a LOT of post operative care and ended up being
weighed constantly for medicinal reasons and the shocking reality of my
weight just hit me in face and I know I need to do something about it.
2. My dad died 7 years ago at the age of 51
from a heart attack due to having undiagnosed heart disease. I’ve
never gotten over my dads death and the reality is if I don’t act now
and change my life that it could be me in 20 years time that is being
cremated.
3. Vanity. I want to be the girl that people look at and think “Wow she looks great!” instead of the girl that people look at and think “Wow look at that huge beached whale over there”.
I want to be able to walk into a high street shop and look in the
“normal section” instead of marching straight for the “fat section”! I
don’t want to look like the girl that looks like she’s bought a tent ,
cut a hole in it and stuck my head through it anymore!
Budget Skinny?
I don’t have a huge income (In fact I actually don’t have any. I’m relying on my partners income) so keeping my diet (LIFESTYLE CHANGE) cheap is really important. Plus why spend loads of
money on food when you can spend it on gorgeous SMALLER clothes!
Healthy food can be cheap if you PLAN! Planning is key to the success
of any diet (LIFESTYLE CHANGE) so I hope as well as giving me the encouragement and help to stay on track it does for YOU too!
